  it's been about two weeks since i came here.

  i've been having a lot of depression and nightmares concerning my family and the jws.

  ghastly visions of bloody mayhem and mutilation, not only of me, but also my husband and my little dog.

  I too had the nightmares and mourning when I first left the WTS. Nightmares of being out of control...of being shunned. My dreams reflected the chaos and power struggle of good vs evil that I pondered every day. I feared for my life during storms. I determined that if the end came and I was still a dub then Jah would destroy me anyway b/c he knows our hearts and would know that I only served as a dub to get into paradise. So I decided that since I would be destroyed anyway, I might as well enjoy the rest of the only life I'd get.

  I was wrong. I finally stopped believing in the lies that the WTS preaches. READ as much as you can b/c this helps you learn about their lies. This is what has helped me get over thinking they were right. I now enjoy thunderstorms and I don't fear dying. I enjoy my life free from the requirements and restraints of that aweful cult.

  So, I go away for a few days and I now see somebody is trying to encroach on my moniker!
  WARNING: The poster posting under "dustbunny" is NOT me! In fact, I'm not entirely miffed about this, but I'm a little annoyed that somebody chose to use a name to close to mine...this will cause confusion, in fact, I noticed that in one thread somebody (Animal, I think?) refered to dustbunny as "dustrabbit"....

  So, dustbunny, I think you might want to clarify that you are not me...

  We're baaaacckkkk!!

  we arrived home today from our san juan islands camping excursion.

  i never counted how many of us were there, but there were lots of us.

  all but one of my 4 kids (princess included) and their families (one daughter in law had to work so didn't come), my niece and her husband and his grandson, one of my son in law's friends and his dog, and two of his friends from his church........groan.........(don't ask.......i'm sure they prayed when they went back to their cabin after being at our campfire), venice and her folks, salud and his wife, one of my son's friends, also an ex dub, and an extra kid or two, friends of the grandchildren.

  I aux pioneered continuously starting the month after I got baptized. Then in 1999/2000 I regular pioneered. Loved it some days, hated it others. I had a severe heart condition which required surgery in 2001 so I was able to get off the list and escape the WT.

  its funny when you think about what the dubs say about us, if they know we are out of the org.

  for not believing anymore, they think we have lost our minds, that we are crazy, mentally corrupt.

  even if one repents and goes back to the borg he is watched like a hawk.. but now if one has sex with a goat or he runs off with another woman and leaves behind his wife and children to provide for themselves, or he screws you out of your money and leaves you broke, but repents he was not crazy, it was a moment of weakness.

  When I was in the borg I was taking an antidepressant, an antipsychotic, and an antianxiety drug. I was frequently suicidal.

  Since leaving the borg I have been taken off of both the antipsychotic and the antianxiety drugs. And my dosage on the antidepressant has been lowered TWICE!! My doctor says that there is even a chance I could get off of it forever, whereas before I was expected to be on it for life. I was going to therapy once and sometimes twice a week...now I only go as needed, or once a month.

  I have been underweight all my life but since leaving the borg I have gained 23 pounds! I asked my doctor if I needed to be worried and she said, "No, I think you are just happy."

  So, you can't tell me that I've lost my mind...I'm never going back.

  P.S. We are all a little crazy....some of us just get caught!
